Liouri King Late Policy

At Liouri King, appointments are scheduled intentionally to allow each client and garment the time, precision, and attention required for a luxury experience. To respect both our schedule and other clients, we ask that all appointments arrive on time.

Grace Period

Clients are granted a 10-minute grace period for all appointments.

Late Arrivals

If a client arrives more than 10 minutes late:

• Appointment time may need to be shortened to avoid disrupting scheduled clients
  

• Certain services or consultations may need to be rescheduled
  

• A late fee may be applied depending on the service and time lost
  

15+ Minutes Late

Clients arriving 15 minutes or more late may be considered a same-day cancellation or missed appointment at Liouri King’s discretion.

Rescheduling fees may apply, especially for:

• Custom design consultations
  

• Same-day tailoring
  

• Rush orders
  

• Weekend or priority appointments
  
  

Same-Day & Rush Services

Because Liouri King specializes in advanced same-day tailoring and expedited services, timing is critical. Late arrivals for same-day or rush services may affect completion timelines and are not guaranteed if the client arrives outside of their scheduled appointment window.

No-Show Policy

Clients who fail to arrive without communication will forfeit their deposit or booking fee.

Repeated no-shows or excessive lateness may result in future booking restrictions.

Luxury tailoring and custom design require structure, timing, and precision. Arriving prepared and on time helps us deliver the highest quality fit, craftsmanship, and experience possible.

Liouri King Tailoring Policy

At Liouri King, tailoring is approached with precision, structure, and intention. Every garment is handled with detailed craftsmanship to ensure the best possible fit while maintaining the integrity of the design.

By booking a tailoring service with Liouri King, clients agree to the following policy terms:

Appointment Requirement

Appointments are strongly recommended for all tailoring services to ensure availability and proper time allocation for each garment.

Walk-ins and last-minute requests are accepted based on schedule availability only.

Same-Day Tailoring

Liouri King specializes in advanced same-day tailoring services, including denim reconstruction and complex fit alterations. Same-day completion is available for select garments and must be approved at the time of booking.

A same-day or priority fee may apply depending on:

• Garment complexity
  

• Time constraints
  

• Current workload
  

• Required schedule adjustments
  
  

Same-day completion is never guaranteed without prior approval.

Estimated Turnaround Times

Turnaround times vary based on garment type, complexity, and current workload. Standard estimated timeframes are listed below:

• Basic alterations: 3–7 business days
  

• Standard hemming: 2–5 business days
  

• Dress alterations: 1–2 weeks
  

• Suit tailoring: 1–2 weeks
  

• Denim tailoring (basic): 5–10 business days
  

• Denim reconstruction or resizing with added fabric: 2–3 weeks
  

• Corset insertions / structural alterations: 2–3 weeks
  

• Custom redesign tailoring: 2–4 weeks
  
  

Rush and same-day services are available based on scheduling and garment complexity. Additional fees apply.

Estimated completion dates are not guaranteed and may shift due to:

• Fabric behavior
  

• Multiple fittings
  

• Design complexity
  

• Additional requested changes
  

• High seasonal volume (prom, wedding, holiday, fashion event periods)
  
  

Clients will be notified if timing adjustments become necessary.

Fittings & Garment Try-Ons

Clients may be required to complete fittings during the tailoring process to ensure proper fit and accuracy.

Clients should arrive wearing or bringing:

• Proper shoes
  

• Shapewear or undergarments
  

• Event garments or layers
  

• Any items affecting the final fit of the garment
  
  

Liouri King is not responsible for inaccurate fit results caused by missing or incorrect fitting garments.

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for inspecting garments at pickup and trying on items when possible before leaving.

Once a garment leaves the studio, Liouri King is not responsible for:

• Damage caused after pickup
  

• Weight fluctuation affecting fit
  

• Additional changes requested outside of the original service scope
  
  

Deposits & Payments

Certain tailoring services, rush orders, or extensive reconstructions may require a deposit before work begins.

All deposits, rush fees, and same-day fees are non-refundable.

Full payment is due before garments are released.

Denim Reconstruction & Complex Alterations

Advanced tailoring services such as:

• Jean reconstruction
  

• Resizing with added fabric
  

• Corset insertions
  

• Structural reshaping
  

• Garment redesign
  
  

require extensive labor and artistry. Pricing reflects the level of craftsmanship, experience, and construction involved.

Final Sale Policy

All tailoring and alteration services are final sale.

Due to the customized nature of tailoring, refunds will not be issued once work has begun or services have been completed.

Any concerns regarding fit must be communicated during fittings or within 24 hours of pickup. Adjustments requested outside of the original agreed service may result in additional charges.

Garment Condition

Liouri King reserves the right to refuse garments that are:

• Excessively damaged
  

• Unsanitary
  

• Structurally compromised
  

• At risk of tearing during alteration
  
  

While every garment is treated with care, clients acknowledge that alterations involve working with existing materials and fabrics that may vary in strength, age, and durability.

Refund Policy

All sales are final on retail items.

Once an item has left the studio with the client’s approval, sales are final.

Deposits & Payments

All deposits made toward custom garments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposits secure your production slot, design time, sourcing, and labor commitment. [ No work will begin until the required deposit has been received] 

Certain tailoring services, rush orders, or extensive reconstructions may require a deposit before work begins.

All deposits, rush fees, and same-day fees are non-refundable.

Full payment is due before garments are released.

Retail Pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our studio. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 hour-2 week, depending on your order. We will send you an email, text, or give you a call when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our Retail pickup hours are 9am-9pm EST on Monday-Saturday. We are located in Philadelphia, PA.
